We are so excited about being featured on the Elizabeth Anne Designs Wedding blog for our Nautical Inspired Shoot. Thanks to our amazing photographer, Brooke Roberts Photography, that captured all the details from the gorgeous day. We are so lucky to be surrounded by so many talented people here on the beautiful Georgia coast. How does your Garden Grow?!

Spring is here!  The Flower Girls have been busy planting for spring and are getting ready for another round of installs next week!

Here are the early stages of a fresh planting just last week:

Geraniums, Daisies, Nemesia, Dianthus…just puts a smile on your face, doesn’t it?

Look at that Lavender!

These containers and beds were designed to give the homeowner plenty of opportunities to cut fresh flowers for her home.

Everyone needs flowers in their home!

Be sure to watch this garden grow in later posts!

Lunch with the Girls

20120202-103556.jpg

Oliver enjoying lunch with his favorite ladies at Indigo Coastal Shanty yesterday. We were taking advantage of our slower winter months, spring is just around the corner.
The crew at indigo really know how to serve up some delicious plates. Plantains with avocado cream, oh my! Everything is always amazing! I could seriously eat here everyday.

Thanks Indigo for a fabulous lunch!

Helllloooo Hyacinths!

These Hyacinths are getting ready to bloom!  We got these in last week and I can’t wait to see them in color!

Hyacinths are highly fragrant, bell shaped flowers with small petals.  The waxy, densely packed florets come in shades of white, peach, orange, salmon, yellow, pink, red, purple, lavender and blue.

They remind me of spring!

Inspiration Shoot on Jekyll

Thank you Brooke Roberts for the awesome pictures from the inspiration wedding Shoot on Jekyll. We had an awesome team come together to pull off the shoot. Special thanks to The Market on Newcastle, Jekyll Island Authority, Latitude 31, and Lady in White.

English Gardens featured Golden Isles Magazine

Have you seen us in Golden Isles Magazine, page 58? English Gardens was asked to design flowers for a Nautical inspirational photo shoot on Jekyll. We used coastal colors to create a unique one of a kind bouquet and driftwood centerpiece, filled full of hydrangeas, callas, berries, delphiniums, ferns, oyster shells, and starfish!

Gotta Love the South

It’s January and my azaleas are blooming! This beautiful bloom sure makes me ready for spring, but we still have another month of winter. It will not be long until the earth warms, and buds start popping! I can almost smell the fresh grass growing.
